LOS ANGELES, CA  [Friday Feb.23.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Rise Against has lost their guitarist Chris Chasse, placing blame on an "overwhelming tour schedule."

Chasse posted the following on the band's website: "Rise Against was the best three years of my life. I've met so many amazing people and been all over the world with the best friends anyone could ask for. I'll never stop writing or playing music. Thank you to everyone over the past few years for all of the love and support. Hope
to see you all again soon. xxx."

The guitarist will be replaced by Zach Blair from Only Crime.

Rise Against is currently touring with My Chemical Romance, and you can also catch the band in their new DVD "Generation Lost," available in stores now.
