LOS ANGELES, CA  [Wednesday Feb.21.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Wolfmother has signed on for the 2007 Download Festival, joining previously announced headliners My Chemical Romance, Linkin Park and Iron Maiden.

Slayer and Marilyn Manson will also play the three day festival, which is set for June 8th-10th at Donington Park in Leicestershire, UK.

Slayer's Tim Araya said, "This is our fourth time playing Download Festival, no wonder it's the greatest in the world. Be prepared to enter the abyss and expect no mercy."
