Having already made history as country music's highest grossing tour ever, Soul2Soul II, earlier last week, was named Pollstar Magazine's "Major Tour of 2006," an accolade incorporating all musical genres.

The 73 concert, 55-city tour left an indelible mark on the industry and the record books. Not only was it also the fastest selling tour for the first quarter of 2006 (according to Ticketmaster) it set numerous attendance and box office records at concert venues across the country.

The 18th Annual Pollstar Magazine Concert Industry Award win comes as McGraw and Hill finalize plans to return to the stage in 2007. MEANWHILE, TIM & FAITH'S L.A. HOME WAS ROBBED The Associated Press reports that, the Hollywood Hills mansion of country music superstars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill was burglarized over the weekend. The home was broken into between Friday and Monday when no one was home, said police Sgt. Lee Sands. A person arriving at the house Monday morning discovered the crime and called police, he said. Police would only say an unspecified amount of money was taken and they had no immediate suspects. Tim and family were not in residence at the time of the crime.
