LOS ANGELES, CA  [Friday Feb.9.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne announced that tickets to the 2007 Ozzfest will be free.

Sharon said, "We're reaching the same point we did years ago when kids no longer wanted to pay for overpriced CDs. As a result, they found alternative ways of getting music. That's what's happening with summer touring in this country, it's out-pricing itself."

Ozzfest began back in 1996, and has since become a breaking ground for huge talent such as Linkin Park and Incubus.

The 2007 Ozzfest, which will be called "Freefest" this year, is set to kick off July 7th in Los Angeles. Dates, performers and ticket information will be announced soon, so keep a lookout.
