Fall Out Boy Down, But Never Out
Band stays one step ahead of album leak

by Laura Katz

Fall Out Boy
LOS ANGELES, CA  [Wednesday Jan.31.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Island Records is rewarding true-blue Fall Out Boy fans after the band's new album "Infinity On High" was leaked on the internet two weeks ahead of schedule.

The band and its label are trying to stay one step ahead of the cyber-criminals (bassist Pete Wentz labeled them "vultures") by offering a downloadable live EP with the purchase of the album, which is due out February 6th.

The EP will feature the track "Leaked in London," a song they wrote (and recorded live on Monday) in honor of the shameless theft.
