McGraw Talks About Recording With His Band
11th album hits stores 3/27

by Neil Haislop

Tim McGraw
NASHVILLE, TN  [Wednesday Jan.24.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Tim McGraw is one of the few major artists that records primarily with his own band in the studio.

Before he did so for the first time (Live Like You Were Dying), he says thought it would work. "They had never been in the studio before with me, but we had made a lot of music together throughout the years and a lot of the stuff we played live has shown up on the albums down the road, with licks and ideas and arrangements that came from playing live we began using in the studio," Tim tells us. "So, I said let's go in the studio and do it and I knew we could make a good album, but what we've done has far surpassed everybody's expectations."

McGraw and the Dance Hall Doctors have done it again on Let It Go, Tim's 11th album release in stores March 27th.
