LOS ANGELES, CA  [Wednesday Jan.24.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- The top 5 contestants have been announced for My Grammy Moment, a contest which gives aspiring singers a shot at performing onstage with Justin Timberlake at the upcoming Grammy Awards.

Timberlake is currently auditioning the top 5 picks in Los Angeles. The contestants will then be narrowed down to 3 finalists, who will each rehearse with Timberlake during the week of the Grammys at the Staples Center. During the show, fans can vote online to decide the winner, which will be announced just before going onstage.

As far as the talent goes, Timberlake said, "I'm impressed. Just hearing them sing. It's one thing to be able to sing, but to hear them all singing together means they have great ears and to be a great singer you have to have a great ear."

He added, "They're going to go through a crash course on what it takes in the industry to be taken seriously."
