LOS ANGELES, CA  [Tuesday Jan.16.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Music producer Rudy Perez was nothing but impressed when he worked with singer/actress Beyonce Knowles on the Spanish re-issue of her album, "B'day."

According to Perez, he taught Beyonce to sing in Spanish. "I have it all written out in phonetics," he said. "We read the lyrics together, and I tell her exactly what she's saying. Even if you don't explain it, she'll ask you because she's very meticulous."

"She'd be laughing, and I'm like, 'Beyonce, trust me, do this.' She stands there literally sometimes six hours non-stop in front of the microphone trying to get this right. That's why she's a superstar."
