LOS ANGELES, CA  [Tuesday Jan.16.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Ben Gibbard of Death Cab For Cutie is making his film debut in "Brief Interviews With Hideous Men."

John Krasinski of NBC's The Office directs the picture, which also stars Will Forte of Saturday Night Live, Mila Kunis of That 70's Show, and Rahida Jones, also of The Office.

Gibbard's been keeping plenty busy - in addition to the movie, the band is currently working on the follow-up to the 2005 album "Plans."

They've also been nominated for two Grammys, one for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal with "I Will Follow You Into The Dark," and also for Best Long Form Music Video with their DVD "Directions."
