LOS ANGELES, CA  [Friday Jan.5.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- It has been announced that 30 Seconds To Mars' sophomore album "A Beautiful Lie" has just been certified platinum by the RIAA.

Until recently, the band was headlining the MTV2 $2 Bill "Welcome To The Universe" tour in support of the hit record. But Jared Leto and the boys better rest up - 30 Seconds is heading back out on the road for The Rockstar Taste of Chaos tour in February.

Other acts on the platinum list - The Killers with "Sam's Town" and Staind's "Chapter V."
