Beyonce Loses Out On Oscar Nod
Singer disqualified based on official rule

LOS ANGELES, CA  [Thursday Jan.4.2007]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Beyonce Knowles has been nixed from the Oscar list in the category of Best Song.

Although she contributed to the powerful Dreamgirls ballad
"Listen," the R&B superstar was disqualified due to a rule stating that there can only be three composers per contending tune.

According to the L.A. Times, Henry Krieger, Anne Preven and Scott Cutler are being recognized by Oscar officials as contributors to the track.
