LOS ANGELES, CA  [Tuesday Dec.26.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Green Day's upcoming re-issues of their early albums "1,039/Smothered Out Slappy Hours" and "Kerplunk!" have both been delayed.

The records were originally supposed to drop December 19th, but for reasons unknown, they will be available starting January 9th.

It has also been reported that the band is busy working on the follow-up to their hit album, "American Idiot."
