Pink Puts The Kibosh on Australian Wool
Singer teams up with PETA2

LOS ANGELES, CA  [Thursday Dec.21.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Pink has partnered up with animal rights group PETA 2 in the fight against the Australian wool trade.

During a recent Pink concert in Paris, the singer showed disturbing video footage featuring live sheep mutilations.

She said in a statement, "I'm calling on all consumers to check labels on sweaters before buying them and if they're merino wool or made in Australia, to leave them on the racks."
