The Fray Steps Up For Biggest Tour Yet
Platinum selling group gets pumped for the road

by Laura Katz

The Fray
LOS ANGELES, CA  [Tuesday Dec.12.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- The Fray is heading out on tour through summer 2007, and according to the band, the nerves are staring to set in.

This is their biggest tour yet, but it's one that matches the success of their debut album "How To Save A Life," which has sold over a million copies.

Guitarist Joe King said, "I'm really nervous actually, because it's a whole new level of touring. This fall tour was a massive step for the Fray, with production, crew and capacities. But summer will probably be four times that."

Singer Isaac Slade said, "There are two different battles you're waging when you play that size of a venue. One is just getting through it and not freaking out and peeing your pants. We've actually gotten to the point where we're all pretty comfortable. But the trick is capturing everybody's attention for that long in such a big place."
