NASHVILLE, TN  [Monday Dec.4.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Rascal Flatts is one of only three country artists in the 45 years of shared AC and Country radio chart history to land two different songs at #1 on two different radio charts in the same week. "My Wish," the band's sixth #1 country single, tops the Mediabase country chart this week as "What Hurts The Most" holds onto the top slot in its third week at #1 on the R&R AC chart.

Rascal Flatts is the first country act in more than three years to take two different songs to the top of the AC and Country charts in the same week. Only two other country acts, Faith Hill and the Dixie Chicks, have previously accomplished this same feat.

"What Hurts The Most" previously held onto the #1 position for four weeks on the Billboard chart and five weeks on the Mediabase country radio chart beginning in April of this year. Rascal Flatts is the first country group to land atop the AC chart after a #1 run on the Country chart.
