NASHVILLE, TN  [Wednesday Nov.29.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Rascal Flatts are finishing a year that they'd like to frame. But they tell us there's no real madness to their method, just hard work and picking good songs.

"The last 7 years have been incredible, but this year in particular has been extraordinary. But our new plans are, we set goals for ourselves all the time and that's what got us to this point," says Jo Don Rooney. "And so, (plans are) we're going back in the studio December and January and hopefully have a new record out in October or November."

"There's no method to our madness we just look for and record great songs. We've written plenty of new songs for this record (more) than any other, we've had a lot more time, almost two years since the last record." "The good thing is the best song always wins, no matter who writes it," assures Gary LeVox.
