SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA  [Thursday Nov.30.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Promoters behind Richard Branson's V Festival have announced that the show will be hitting Australia next Spring.

The first venue will be Sydney's Centennial Park on March 31st, followed by an April 1st show at the Avica Resort in the Gold Coast.

Gnarls Barkley, The Pixies, Pet Shop Boys, the Rapture, Soulwax and Groove Armada have all signed on the perform at the event, which is taking place just two months after "Big Day Out," a concert tour event featuring My Chemical Romance, Muse, The Killers, and Tool.

Tickets for the Australian V Festival go on sale December 4th.
