LOS ANGELES, CA  [Wednesday Nov.29.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- The Killers are releasing a Christmas single called "A Great Big Sled."

According to the band's frontman Brandon Flowers, they got their inspiration from acts like Cliff Richard and Wham!, the artists behind some of today's modern holiday classics.

Flowers said, "There are some great Christmas tunes that have been recorded over the years from the likes of George Michael and John Lennon. Sometimes you forget. You get so caught up in business and being an adult that you forget to have fun and enjoy things and be nice to people."

"A Great Big Sled" will be available exclusively as an internet download starting December 5th.
