Blunt Gets a Double Dose at the 2006 WMA's
Nickelback, Beyonce, Furtado each pick up 1 win

LONDON, UK [Tuesday Nov.21.2006] /Mix103FM.com/ -- British singer/songwriter James Blunt was the big winner at the 2006 World Music Awards.
The "You're Beautiful" artist took home two honors at the event, which took place in London last week. Blunt won for best new artist and best-selling British artist.
Nickelback beat out Red Hot Chili Peppers and Coldplay to snag the win in the best rock group category, Beyonce Knowles earned herself best R&B artist, and Nelly Furtado won in the pop/rock genre.
Both Knowles and Furtado performed at the awards show, which was hosted by actress Lindsay Lohan.
