LOS ANGELES, CA  [Wednesday Nov.15.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Word around Tinseltown is that Beyonce and Eva Longoria may be playing lesbian lovers in an upcoming film.

The movie, "Tipping The Velvet," is Sofia Coppola's latest directorial endeavor and is based on a Sarah Waters novel about a turn-of-the-century songstress and her lover.

Eva Longoria said of the project, "Yes it's true, we're talking about doing that. It's such a wonderful novel, a beautiful love story."

Beyonce Knowles put in her two cents as well, saying, "We've had "Brokeback Mountain" so the time is right for this divine novel to get the same treatment."
