Jet Writes Anti-Hilton Tune
New song bashes socialite, crowd eats it up

by Laura Katz

Jet
LONDON, UK  [Tuesday Nov.14.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- The members of Jet have created a song dedicated to bashing Paris Hilton.

Jet's frontman Nic Cester recently performed the tune at their sold-out show at London's Brixton Academy, shouting to the crowd "Here's a song we've written about Paris Hilton - it's called Rip It Up." One lyric refers to Hilton's beloved pooch, Tinkerbell, saying "I'm gonna get ya my pretty, your little dog, too." The audience reportedly went crazy for the new song.

Jet will kick off the North American leg of their tour November 26th, in Toronto. For more information, log on to www.jettheband.com
