LOS ANGELES, CA  [Thursday Nov.2.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- After a rough year, Evanescence is ready for the road in support of their new album, "The Open Door."

The band has tapped Stone Sour as their tourmates. "Come What(Ever) May" is the group's second album following their highly successful debut four years ago. The Canadian leg of the tour will kick off January 5th in Montreal, and wrap up January 18th in Vancouver.

In the meantime, Evanescence has chosen Paul Fedor to direct their video for "Lithium," off the new album. Fedor previously worked with bands like the Deftones, Adema, and Alice In Chains.
