Keith Urban Launches New Website
4th Studio album coming Nov. 7th

by Neil Haislop

Keith Urban
NASHVILLE, TN  [Thursday Nov.2.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- KeithUrban.net will be unveiled TODAY (Wednesday, November 1st) with an all-new video streaming capabilities and state-of-the-art design. The new look will also include new videos and new music, as well as new photos, new interactive capabilities and exclusive contests.

Keithurban.net is the only place for the latest official Keith Urban related news and fan exclusive content. The site's launch comes as Keith's fourth studio album, Love, Pain & the whole crazy thing, is to be released on Tuesday, November 7th.

The new homepage will be a splashy stepping stone to a site that will constantly push the envelope by inviting Keith Urban fans into the concert halls, the studio and behind the scenes. Monkeyville, Urban's existing online fan community, will continue with exclusive videos, interactive question-and-answer chats and the usual special opportunities to score merchandise and first access to preferred tickets to concerts. THE ALBUM Love, Pain & the whole crazy thing contains thirteen brand new tracks.

The album showcases Urban's consummate songwriting and vocal talents, as well as his searing guitar work. Co-produced by Dann Huff and Urban, Love, Pain & the whole crazy thing, includes "Once In A Lifetime," (John Shanks, Keith Urban) the album's first single, which upon its release last month became the highest debuting single since the inception of the Billboard Chart.

Highlights of Love, Pain & the whole crazy thing include the bold, contagious rockers "Faster Car" (Urban) and "I Told You So" (Urban). Songs such as "Shine" and "Used to the Pain" exhibit Urban's ability to produce infectious melodies that patiently build to a musical climax. While brilliant songs such as "Stupid Boy," "I Can't Stop Lovin' You" and "God Made Woman," an anthem to women, all show Urban's ability to select and interpret songs written by others.
