Ludacris' Latest Takes On Serious Tone
"Release Therapy" tackles prisons, runaways, and the biz

by Laura Katz

Ludacris
LOS ANGELES, CA  [Monday Oct.30.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- "Release Therapy" is Ludacris' 5th album, and while hit single "Moneymaker" is doing just that, the rest of the record is filled with tracks that tackle some serious subjects.

"Mouths To Feed" and "War With God" both address the tough world of the music biz. Luda raps about the prison system with "Do Your Time," and shares his thoughts about teens on the street on "Runaway Love," which features Mary J. Blige.

Mary is one of the many guest artists on the album, which include performances from Young Jeezy, Pharell, R. Kelly, Bobby Valentino, and Bun B.

Ludacris is currently on tour, and can be seen as an angry elf in the upcoming Christmas comedy "Fred Claus," starring Vince Vaughn.
