NASHVILLE, TN  [Friday Oct.20.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Taylor Swift has just been named the opener for the current Rascal Flatts "Me and My Gang" Tour. The tour, which has scored sell-outs at New York's Madison Square Garden and L.A.'s Staples Center among others, continues through November 3 and at its conclusion will have been seen by 1.1 million fans. Taylor will begin the tour TODAY in Omaha, followed by shows in Moline, Illinois on October 20 and Dayton, Ohio on October 21. More dates are listed below.

"Tim McGraw," Taylor's Top 15 (and climbing) single which she co-wrote, has surpassed the 100,000 mark for digital sales. It consistently ranks among the Top 5 best-selling country singles at Apple's iTunes Music Store. In addition to heavy country radio airplay, Taylor's MySpace site has streamed her music to fans over 1.75 million times in only a few months.
