LOS ANGELES, CA  [Wednesday Oct.18.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Keane frontman Tom Chaplin is fresh out of rehab, and ready to return to a sober lifestyle...with the generous help of Sir Elton John.

The legendary performer contacted Chaplin after hearing that he had checked himself into a rehab facility.

A close source said, "Tom's had so much support after going into rehab but he never expected it would come from someone like Sir Elton John. Tom was moved by the gesture and they've been in touch frequently. Elton knows exactly what Tom's going through."

Chaplin has been continuing treatment for his addiction to cocaine and alcohol on an outpatient basis.
