NEW YORK, NY  [Friday Oct.6.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Killers fans got a speacial treat last week, when frontman Brandon Flowers took to the stage for an impromptu jam session.

The spontaneous post-midnight performance took place at New York City's Mercury Lounge in front of an audience of about 50 people.

Flowers, along with members of The Red Romance and Mohair, cranked out a cover of David Bowie's "Heroes," as well as renditions of The Beatles' "A Day In The Life," Elton John's "Your Song," and The Eagles'"Desperado."
