Beyonce told Blender magazine "I make black records. I write records like I speak, and I don't try to change my songs so everyone else likes them." Since the statement, U.S. sales of her new album "B-day" have dropped by 70%.

The singer has also come under fire for being a no-show at the recent MOBO awards, where she won in 3 categories.
