DJ Banksy Under Fire For Animal Abuse
Tai the Elephant painted for art show

by Laura Katz

Gnarls Barkley
LOS ANGELES, CA  [Thursday Sep.21.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Gnarls Barkley's DJ Bansky has been pulling some wild stunts lately, such as doctoring Paris Hilton's CD and putting up renegade art shows.

Now the artist/DJ is being criticized for painting an elephant for his Los Angeles art exhibit. While the paint was non-toxic, animal activists are still up-in-arms over the incident.

According to Ed Boks of LA Animal Services, "Permits will not be issued for such frivolous abuse in future."
