LOS ANGELES, CA  [Wednesday Sep.13.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Gary Lightbody is a giver...at least to old bud Charlie Clark and his band, Our Lunar Activities.

The Snow Patrol frontman has seen to it that Charlie and the band will open the show on four UK tourdates. The two met back in the day when they both played in the Reindeer Section, and have been friends ever since.

Charlie spoke about his friend way back when:

"Gary was hammered and went up to everyone and asked if they were interested in starting a band. We all agreed to do it thinking he was talking rubbish but it happened."
He then added, "We were nursing our hangover when we said three years ago we'd bet he two biggest bands in Britain. Gary was half right."
