LOS ANGELES, CA  [Tuesday Sep.12.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Top artists like Beyonce, Busta Rhymes, Ciara, Missy Elliot, and Snoop Dog will help celebrate Nigerian Independence Day by performing in a concert called This Day Music Festival.

The shows will take place on October 7th and 8th in Lagos, Nigeria, and will feature local music groups as well. It is hoped that the concert will help bring global recognition to the area, and help boost the economy.

This festival will mark and celebrate 46 years of independence from British rule.
