CHICAGO, IL  [Friday Sep.1.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Ben Gibbard of Death Cab For Cutie is giving back.

Gibbard was one of the performers at a recent Chicago show called "Revenge Of the Book Eaters," a benefit for the "826" writing program.

The organization, started by author Dave Eggers, helps kids 6 and up to discover the writer within, and has branches springing up all over the country.
