LOS ANGELES, CA  [Friday Aug.25.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Rihanna, All-American Rejects, New Found Glory, Chamillionaire, and Cartel will kickoff the festivites for the MTV Video Music Awards with a free concert in Battery Bark.

Tuesday Aug 29th at 5pm, the VMA Kickoff Concert takes the stage. This is a free all ages concert. Starting Thursday, August 24th at 12noon, you can pick up tickes (while they last) at Tower Records ( both stores- 1961 Broadway & 692 Broadway), and the MTV Store. Z100 and Power 105.1 will be giving away tickets as well.
