LOS ANGELES, CA  [Thursday Aug.24.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Based on the Broadway Musical Dreamgirls, Jamie Foxx and Beyonce bring their vocal and acting abilities to this 70 million dollar musical.

The story is similar to the Supremes rise to fame, a trio of black female singers trying to make it in the music business. Beyonce Knowles play Deena Jones the Diana Ross like character is the movie. The movie has been filming in Los Angels and is slated to hit theaters in December.
