LOS ANGELES, CA  [Friday Jul.21.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- It's not unusual for Mariah Carey to be in front of the camera, but how about when the Grammy-winning singer gets Spike Lee to shoot the footage?

Carey has teamed with Oscar-nominated director Spike Lee to make some short vignettes for her upcoming Adventures of Mimi Tour.

According to the her official website, Carey recently made several short films in Los Angles with Lee, and the films will be screened during her headlining tour, which kicks off August 5 in Miami.

Carey is touring in support of her latest album "The Emancipation of Mimi."
