Rascal Flatts delivers big show on Me and My Gang tour.
LOS ANGELES, CA [Tuesday Jul.18.2006] /Mix103FM.com/ -- Last Friday night, Rascal Flatts took their big time Me and My Gang road show to the Los Angeles Staples Center, and the demand was such for the sold-out show that seats were being added right up to the day of the performance.
The stage and production were huge, with a 30-foot-tall rear video wall and multiple side screens and pyro that made the stage look like Atlanta was burning again during "I Melt."
A big half circle ramp bisected by a 25-foot walkway from center stage that takes them deep into the floor seats and allows the three guys to roam front and sides for a lot of intimate interaction with the fans. The sound is huge and the trio was in great voice and musical form for the much-anticipated show in the town where their Lyric Street Nashville parent companies, Hollywood Records/Disney are based.
Indeed their pre-show meet 'n' greet was populated by several high-ranking Disney executives who came to greet their big money-making stars.
Every year since we first saw this trio, their show has grown by quantum leaps as they surrounded themselves with hot young pickers, and looked hard toward this kind of monster show.
