LOS ANGELES, CA  [Monday Jul.17.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Next month marks the live debut of the emo-rock collective Cobra Starship.

The band, which features members of the Academy Is ..., Gym Class Heroes, Midtown, the Sounds, and the All-American Rejects, is performing live at the "Snakes On A Plane: The Album" release party.

Along with Cobra Starship, other surprise acts from the soundtrack will be stopping by the event, to be held August 16 at The Key Club in Los Angeles.

The Snakes On A Plane soundtrack arrives in stores on August 15 from Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz's label Decaydance Records and New Line Records. Along with Cobra Starship's song "Snakes on a Plane (Bring It)," the disc also features tracks from Panic! At the Disco, Cee-Lo of Gnarls Barkley, the All-American Rejects, Fall Out Boy, Coheed & Cambria and Jack's Mannequin.
