NEW YORK, NY  [Monday Jul.17.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Grammy winner Usher is bringing his talents to New York's famed Broadway next month.

The R&B singer has landed the role of the lawyer Billy Flynn in the award-winning musical "Chicago." Usher will join the Broadway cast for a limited engagement, starting August 22 through October 1 at the Ambassador Theatre.

The "Chicago" role marks Usher's Broadway debut.
