WASHINGTON, D.C.  [Friday Jul.14.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Rascal Flatts performed in the East Room of the White House Monday night as part of a black-tie dinner for Special Olympics founder Eunice Kennedy Shriver.

Barbara Walters was there and on her ABC TV morning show "The View," she was happily dishing about the gala.

She mentioned one her favorite offerings of the dinner menu was "chilled avocado soup." Barbara then mentioned that Rascal Flatts' performance was great and she repeated a wisecrack they made, "Rascal Flatts said they loved the dinner except the soup was cold!"
