LOS ANGELES, CA  [Friday Jul.14.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Snow Patrol is getting ready to release the second single from its new album "Eyes Open."

The new single will be the anthemic "Chasing Cars," the band announced this week on its official website at www.snowpatrol.com.

The song has already been generating some heavy download buzz after it was featured on the season finale of the popular ABC show "Grey's Anatomy." Originally written as a love song, "Chasing Cars" took on new meaning as the soundtrack to the tangled web of relationships in the last scene of the "Grey's Anatomy" series finale.

Snow Patrol's "Chasing Cars" video was shot in Los Angeles and features scenes from "Grey's Anatomy." You can check it out at Yahoo! Music.

This is the second video that Snow Patrol has made for "Chasing Cars." There is also another "arty UK version" circulating.
