Rascal Flatts performs at the White House.
WASHINGTON, D.C. [Wednesday Jul.12.2006] /Mix103FM.com/ -- Rascal Flatts made a very special appearance Monday night before resuming their "Me And My Gang" tour this weekend after a short vacation break.
The band performed in the East Room of the White House for an invitation only black-tie dinner, "A Tribute to the Special Olympics and Eunice Kennedy Shriver."
Shriver established the Special Olympics in 1968, and the organization is the largest effort to provide sports training and athletic competition for individuals with intellectual disabilities, providing life-changing
opportunities to more than 2.25 million athletes worldwide.
