CHARLOTTETOWN, PEI  [Monday Jul.10.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- The members of Three Days Grace are sore but safe after a van crashed into the band's van two weeks ago.

On Saturday afternoon, July 1st, the band and three crew members were involved in a car crash, shortly after arriving at the Charlottetown, PEI (Prince Edward Island) airport in Canada.

The good news is, "Everyone is fine despite having really sore necks and backs," writes drummer Neil Sanderson on the band's MySpace page.

"We were stopped at a stop light on a highway, when a van coming up behind us didn't see the traffic lights or our van, and hit us at highway speeds," explains Sanderson. "The lack of skidmarks and the impact of the crash is a sign that the driver didn't even touch the brakes."

Luckily, the driver of Three Days Grace's van saw the other vehicle approaching and, "in a split second, took her foot off the brake and hit the gas, in order to lesson the impact a little...a move that saved our a--es!"

Three Days Grace gave a huge thanks to their driver and noted that the accident was "a reminder that in an instant, everything can change."
