LOS ANGELES, CA  [Monday Jun.19.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Excitement surrounding the 2006 BET Awards continues to build with the announcement that America's favorite Dreamgirl Beyonce will open the show.

During the televised event, Beyonce will get things underway with a show-stopping "Grand Opening" performance and world premiere of her new song "Déjà vu."

Besides a "Grand Opening," the BET Awards also features a "Grand Closing," with Prince capping off the evening with a must-see performance.

Joining Beyonce and Prince, the megastar line-up also includes top nominee Jamie Foxx, host Damon Wayans, Chaka Khan, Mary J. Blige, Busta Rhymes, Ne-Yo, T.I., Chris Brown, Keyshia Cole, Mary Mary and many more.
