ATLANTA, GA  [Thursday Jun.8.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Snow Patrol has rescheduled six shows on its current North American tour.

The Northern Irish quintet was forced to cancel the original dates when frontman Gary Lightbody was sidelined by laryngitis.

The new Snow Patrol shows will take place June 22 in Atlanta; June 23 in Washington, DC; June 25 in Toronto; June 26 in Philadelphia; June 27 in New York; and August 15 in Boston.

According to NME.com, Snow Patrol's concert in Montreal will be rescheduled for October, and the new date will be announced in the coming months.

Snow Patrol is touring in support of its new album, "Eyes Open."
