NASHVILLE, TN  [Monday Jun.5.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- When he was in college, the best summertime memory for Kenny Chesney was the time he and his buddy worked as lifeguards all day long and partied on their houseboat all night.

But these days, and for the past few summers, the arrival of summer conjures up other good time images for the two-time ACM Entertainer of the Year.

"It's fans on the lawn out there in the amphitheaters...it's the sound of road cases rolling out of trucks and it's the sound of generators," he says, explaining, "That's been my life in the summertime for the past several years."

Kenny's "Summertime" is in full swing with the latest leg of his tour underway and Carrie Underwood joining the lineup this week (June 1).
