PARIS, FRANCE  [Friday Jun.2.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- French fans will have to wait a while longer to see Fall Out Boy.

The emo punk rockers were forced to cancel a show in Paris this week after someone stole singer Patrick Stump's bag from a club in the UK.

According to a message on the band's official web site, the stolen bag contained Patrick's passport.

Fall Out Boy explains, "We could not get a new passport issued in time to get him into France unfortunately, so there was no choice [but to cancel the Paris show]."

Fall Out Boy apologized to the fans who bought tickets and they hope to make it up to them soon. The band is currently on a European tour in support of its breakthrough album "From Under The Cork Tree."
