NEW YORK, NY  [Thursday May.18.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- There have been so many yes-they-are, no-they're-not stories about the engagement or marriage of Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman that the best policy was to wait for credible word from one of the horses' mouths, and it seems that has happened.

In this case hollywood.com is declaring that Nicole Kidman has confirmed personally that she and Keith are engaged.

Kidman hosted the 30th Anniversary gala for United Nations organization UNIFEM in New York City on Saturday, where she was accompanied by Urban.

While there, she confirmed to People magazine that Keith wasn't just a boyfriend saying, "He's actually my fiancé. I wouldn't be bringing my boyfriend to (the event)."

So there you have it. She disclosed no other details of when and where their nuptials would take place.
