This year's event takes place at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on June 27th, and will also feature performances by rappers T.I. and Kanye West.

Comedian Daman Wayans hosts the 2006 BET Awards show, which airs live from Los Angeles on Tuesday, June 27th, at 8:00 pm ET/PT.
