Johnson to take a break from touring and recording.
OAHU, HI [Tuesday May.16.2006] /Mix103FM.com/ -- Jack Johnson is ready to chill.
After wrapping up a world tour in support of his album "In Between Dreams," writing and recording music for the "Curious George" animated movie, and performing at Hawaii's annual Kokua Festival last month, Jack Johnson plans to take a well deserved break.
Just how long Johnson plans to kick back is up in the air, but it could be a couple years before we hear any new music from the Hawaiian-born singer-songwriter.
According to Johnson's
official web site, "Jack Johnson plans to take a much deserved year or two off from touring and recording."
For those in need of some Jack Johnson music, check out "Sing-A-Longs & Lullabies for the Film Curious George." The album contains eight new and original songs by Jack, plus tracks by Ben Harper, G. Love, and Matt Costa.
