Coldplay Singer Goes Solo For Charity
Chris Martin to Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation fundraiser.

LOS ANGELES, CA  [Wednesday May.10.2006]  /Mix103FM.com/ -- Coldplay frontman Chris Martin is going solo this month in the name of charity.

On May 20th, Martin will perform live at "A Taste of Napa," to raise funds for UCLA's Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation. The annual event takes place May 20th at the Regent Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills, California.

Along with Chris Martin's performance, another highlight includes the presentation of the Gil Nickel Humanitarian Award to Alex Wallau, President of ABC Network Operations and Administration. The award honors Wallau for his continued efforts to make research a priority for the cure of cancer.
